  The face is declared as weight 500-800. A lighter request, such as a default 400, renders
  at 500, which is the brief's minimum weight.
  The font has tnum (tabular figures), frac, pnum and a plain zero (zero redrawn from upstream for Tot Up; OFL). Its digits are lining by default.
  The Latin subset does not contain these glyphs, so they come from the next font in the stack:
  check, cross, warning sign, arrows and the numero sign. Use inline SVG for icons. ‹ › − × ÷ £ € … ’ are included.

  The two fallback families below are metric-matched local system fonts. They make text set in
  the fallback before the swap about as wide and tall as the final font, so the swap barely reflows.
  Each size-adjust was measured in Chromium. It is the width of six lines of UI copy in Atkinson
  divided by their width in the local font, taken separately for 500, 700 and 800.
  ascent-override and descent-override are Atkinson's 0.984 and 0.316 em divided by size-adjust,
  so line boxes keep the same height. Safari applies only size-adjust.
  Atkinson's digits are wider than Arial's (0.66em against 0.56em), so blocks made only of digits
